Our Church Schools

There are two Church schools in the parish and we have strong and lively connections with both of them. Several members of the congregation act as Foundation Governors caring for the distinctive Christian Ethos and Values of the schools.  Both schools received ‘Outstanding’ in their latest Church School Inspections in 2016-2017. The clergy team regularly lead Collective Worship in the schools and the schools visit the church for key services during the year and to enhance the teaching of the R.E. curriculum.

St Faith’s Church of England Infant and Nursery School

“Inspiring a love of learning in our St Faith’s family”

St. Faith’s Infant and Nursery school is a voluntary controlled Church of England School and enjoys strong links with St Faith's Church and the diocese of Lincoln. We cherish and love our family feel and the involvement that our friends, family and the whole community have in our school.

Our inclusive St Faith’s family strives to enable all to achieve their full potential and inspire a community of hope and friendship. We seek excellence by ensuring a safe, respectful and flourishing learning community, where differences are celebrated and our genuine love and high expectations make a difference to all.

Our Christian values of friendship, respect, community, compassion, trust and justice are very important to our school. The children have a clear understanding about our values and both children and adults live through them each day. As you walk around our school, the values are clear to see.

Our Vision

To deliver the highest quality of education for our pupils by providing a safe and stimulating environment, which empowers pupils to maximise their personal, spiritual, creative and academic potential in order to become life long learners.

We believe that children learn best if they are happy, inspired and engaged with their experiences at school. We aim to help children to achieve the highest standards in all aspects of school life, promoting our school’s Christian values, within a safe and caring environment.

At St Faith and St Martin Church of England Junior School we recognise that your child’s education is very special. We aim to inspire a love of learning that knows no limits – as like our school mascot- the house martin – our pupils soar high, are loving and caring and are beautiful additions to our Christian community.
